Night out at LEVANT

Had an amazing evening last night. I dined with my close friend and sister at Levant in wigamore street london. We ordered mezze for starters, which was  a bowl of houmous, mixed spiced houmous, and mixed herb with tomatoes . This came with 3 mini flat breads.

The mains were mixed meat, lamb and chicken The lamb was not as succulent as I wanted.

Once we had the starters and mixed meat, by the time the chicken leg came we were full to the brim. I had a nibble but could not finish it! The rice was nice, homemade style without it being spiced up.

We were bursting from the seams at this point! The sweet selection offered was as follows: fresh fruit, Turkish delight, and chocolate brownies.

I just about had a nibble on the Turkish delight, they were very tasty- not as sweet as they normally are (you know what I'm talking about hopefully).

With all that eating, one must relax and wash it down with sweet a pot of Lebanese tea. This really refreshed the pallet. I highly recommend it at Levant.

The mocktails were super yum, I ordered virgin coloda with blue lagoon, it was a smurf colour drink! So creamy and refreshing!

The restaurant has a deep morrocan theme, with lanterns and red coloured furniture to add to the middle eastern theme. The night finished off with belly dancers seducing the punters- well not literally, but it was a great night!

The ambience, coupled with friendly staff makes this a perfect place to dine.

If you have been to Kenza, then this won't ball you over, but it has its own magic to offer!
