Foodie Friday- Getting that holiday feeling!

Foodlovegrub has been through testing times, the mobile used to take pictures for the blog has still not been fixed. Totally missing updating and showing our amazing food pictures.

It is Foodie Friday, and the show must go on, usually everything that is blogged is a place which has been visited and tested for you lovely lot.

However just this once, we want to talk about the Bar/Restaurant that we wish to visit in the coming months! If you can guess this place, you will get brownie points!

Situated on the 27th floor, the space inside this restaurant/bar has been designed for intimate conversations, and a rotating line-up of live music, ensures the sights and sounds are as impressive as the beverages they shake up. Here, creating cocktails really is an art form.

We have heard nothing but great opinions about this place, I hope this is your spring/summer destination too!

Foodlovegrub fans are still staying true, we love having you visit the blog. To stay in touch on a regular basis, don't forget to click on the button above, "like" and "follow" us on Facebook and Twitter.

Foodie Friday,

Harissa spiced chicken/ mint and vanilla mousse

Happy Monday! I am really surprised as to how quick the year is going, it's February already! I know, tell me about it!

Feast your eyes on the picture above, my healthy eating is going down a treat today. A mix of salad with Harrisa spiced chicken. The meat was dry, perfect for how I like it, especially with salad, the spice was just about right. Salad dressings are great, I love adding the "Quick Ranch dressing", you can too:

    2 tablespoons well-shaken cultured buttermilk
    1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

    1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar, optional

    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, optional

1 to 3 teaspoons finely chopped fresh chives, mint, and/or Italian parsley, optional.

Whisk together the buttermilk and mayonnaise. Taste and season with salt and pepper. If desired, whisk in rice vinegar, garlic powder, and herbs.

Today I finished lunch with a cup of mint and vanilla mousse, I had a crunchy apple too. It was divine to say the least.

    Happy Mondays,
